Heiner Luz

Born on September 24th, 1959 in Stuttgart, grew up in Birkach, a suburb of Stuttgart.

Since April 2000, 2nd marriage with Bea Luz, née Seeliger, interpreter and translator, 2+2 children.

Professional Career

1979 - 1981 Gardening internships

1981 - 1983 Training as a perennials gardener at Fehrle

1983 - 1984 Assistant perennials and landscape gardener

1984 - 1991 Degree in Landscape Architecture at the Technical University, Munich-Weihenstephan
Thesis: Urban Access Roads as Design Task. (Chair for Landscape Architecture and Design, Prof. Christoph Valentien)

Since the beginning of 2010: Member of the board of trustees of the Karl-Foerster-Stiftung.

From April 2010 to March 2011: Interim Professor with the Teaching and Research Department for plant usage at the Institute of Landscape Architecture TU Dresden.

Since December 2011: Member of the craftsmen's association „Deutscher Werkbund“ (DWB)
